A longstanding friend of mine has a First in Music but now unfortunately
now suffers from ME. When I saw this set of fabrics I knew I had
to make something for her and I thought a couple of cushions would be fast
and useful. One was for Christmas 2000 and one for her birthday in
April 2001, I finished them in July 2001 and she received them in August!
Each cushion is 15" square. When I was cutting the fabric my
3 year old son came to "help" and the large square from which the flying goose
part of the pattern is made ended up as 6.5" not 6.25". I didn't realise
until I had made the flying geese and was putting the sections of the block
together, I just kept on stitching and luckily once quilted up the extra
fullness mostly vanished.
